Voyager Episode

The USS Voyager has developed sentience. The ship is malfunctioning, but these malfunctions do not seem random. The following is a single puzzle in three parts. Solve it, and you will find the source of the ship's new found intelligence.

Transporter Malfunction

The ship has used the transporter to scramble together members of the crew and an alien visitor from the Alpha Quadrant. Unscramble the crew members, return them to their posts, and discover the visitor:

Universal Translator

Since the ship gained intelligence, the universal translator has started exhibiting certain minor malfunctions. The crew has narrowed the list of malfunctions to those found in these few phrases. What does this mean?
  • Love is swetfter than candy
  • Let's go fly a cote.
  • I sing a different mone so I don't judge a boie by its cover.
  • Disck and Jill are fixed up as good as pl.
  • The biologist movumented the habits of the Galapagos ietise.
  • Iduoth the raven, "Nevermore!"

Diplomatic Resistance

The alien visitor has drawn together people from all over space and time to help you find the source of Voyager's transformation (Spock even showed up twice!). The problem is, they don't seem to want to help you.

Use the map and coordinates of their home planets shown on the left (and figure out who lives on the mystery planets), and the seating diagram on the right to find out exactly how resistant they are to helping you. Round up.
